Forget walking the walk. Bernie Sanders reluctantly validates the research on the impact of hiking minimum wage.

While consumers are angry, frustrated by high gas prices one aspect is being overlooked. Both the BC and federal governments are thrilled with high prices. That’s what the constantly increasing carbon tax is designed to do – raise prices and discourage driving.

Only the tax hungry BC government thinks that buying a second home and holding it for 10, 20, 30 years while paying property taxes, insurance, utilities and upkeep is speculating – and you don’t even have to sell it for the government to demand your money.

Saying to BC Utilities Commission inquiry that is looking into the cause of high gas prices in BC that it’s not allowed to consider the impact of government taxes or other policies was a joke…right?…no. Okay, well it was laughable.

The fact that a $162 billion will be spent this year on wind power subsidies with no meaningful reductions in emissions begs a questions that Canada’s most prominent climate activists – both inside and outside of government – refuse to ask.
