Last Monday was supposed to be the start date for fining doctors who performed hip, knee or cataract surgeries in any of the 60 private clinics in BC. The government blinked and will now wait for the court decision on preventing any of the 85,000 people currently on wait lists from using their own money to end their suffering.

No one wants to talk about the CO2 emissions if the Trans Mountain expansion is cancelled. Why? Because they’ll actually rise if the project’s cancelled but rising emissions will be all the focus of the new $40 billion LNG project.
