Weeks after passing a new tax on big businesses, Seattle political leaders signaled late Monday they would reverse under pressure from businessand repeal it. The tax hike was meant address the homelessness crisis, the tax revolt was to remind politicians citizens don’t want to be taxed for having a job.

Sobering Thoughts For Any Canadian

Sunday June 10 was tax freedom day in Canada. Until June 10th every cent earned went to all levels of Federal, Provincial and Civic Government. Today Michael produces a sobering list of all the taxes collected up to and beyone tax freedom day. The list will stun the average taxpayer.

Canada & US Play Chicken Over Trade….

….but Conservative leader Andrew Sheer, NDP Leader Jagmet Singh & former Prime Minister Harper all all rallied around Trudeau’s position on trade. Trump lashed out at Canada’s trade relationship with the U.S. accusing Canada of “charging massive Tariffs” to U.S. businesses. In a tweet sent Sunday Trump pointed specifically to Canada’s 270% tariff on dairy the origin of his frustrations with Canada.
