In a nutshell, people don’t trust the government and they point to the BC NDP removing the offsetting tax breaks for the carbon tax as proof – making it just like any other tax.

Just because a government press release calls a spending plan “an investment” or “stimulus” – you don’t have to. They spend tens of millions of tax dollars a year on spin – they don’t need your help.

Melinda Gates admitted that they didn’t consider the economic consequences of COVID restrictions. What else didn’t they consider – certainly not mental health, domestic abuse or addiction.

It’s not WHAT you know, it’s WHO you know and that’s not capitalism. And increasing lobbying of government for special favours or deals is not the sign of free enterprise.

There are climate activists, politicians, academics, cheered on by some in the media who think the economic devastation of the pandemic is a acceptable tradeoff for the reduction in emissions.
