No matter how long it takes, the government is determined to stop patients from receiving medically necessary treatment in a timely matter. Don’t get me wrong – politicians and other insiders don’t have to wait. They just go to the same private clinics that they want to stop you from using.

Students here from China – with the blessing of the Xi Jinping – are a major cash cow for Canadian Universities, which may be one reason why Canada’s response has been so timid to numerous Chinese provocations.

Yikes – that’s a break from the orthodoxy coming from an academic concerned about science and climate change but he has a point. Bad analysis produces bad solutions.

Members of the urban commentariat have called Alberta’s demands for constructive government action in the oil industry whining. Will they say the same about BC’s Forest Industry which is demanding government action in response to mill closures and thousands of lay-offs?

I could have sworn they were just kidding when the BC government told the Utilities Commission to look into high gas prices but ignore the government taxes and policies that push prices higher.
