Riding sharing is in 600 cities around the globe but not in BC. This week the BC government delayed it again into 2019 at the earliest but it is the ridiculous spin that wins the goofy.

50 years ago today – a track meet was held at Soldier Field, Chicago for people with intellectual disabilities. It was the beginning of Special Olympics. Progress has been made but as Mke points out – not near enough.

One of the delicious ironies of Canadian politics is how anti- free trade, self described progressives are in lockstep with Donald Trump…and for the same reason. They’re clueless when it comes to the economics of trade.

Contrary to what some well known climate activists state – a carbon tax hurts economic growth. That’s why the revenues collected from BC’s original carbon tax were offset by reductions in personal and business taxes but that mode’s been rejected by today’s greedy governments.

Thanks to Donald Trump protectionism is in the news. Make no mistake, protectionism applies to one group or industry, keeps prices higher that the consumer has to pay. We are no better here in Canada, just this week the BC Government announced all infrastructure projects would have to be unionized. That’s going to hurt….
