Things are not good in Europe and investors there are flooding into the North American Stock Markets. Much higher numbers in the next 4-5 years. What about the Free Trade agreement with Europe?

In short, Trump’s dominance of the media has moved the political conversation away from climate change and social justice issues. Instead he’s fired up the conversation in Canada about the economy and free trade.

Free trade gives Canada access to 491 million consumers in the US and Mexico and those two countries get access to just 35 million Canadians.

If the polls are correct the Canadian public want Prime Minister Trudeau to stand up to President Trump in upcoming negotiations, especially in light of his recent immigration ban. The trouble is a confrontation approach is not likely to yield anything positive with our giant to the south.

There is a comment in the Outlaw Josey Wales that covers, in part, what the advocates for divesture of all things carbon think they are doing. Trouble is, no-one of these advocates are willing to go all the way.
